Sorry, but no. The thing about teachers being sadists for using rulers is maybe something worth of a discussion.

But you state that this forum is for sharing knowledge. Yes. But this article is not about knowledge, it is about chiming in to a stupid code style war. And it does so _without_ knowledge.

I've added a comment specific for this article which details the issues I have with it. In short there are a couple of very wrong statements in this article that need to be addressed.

In general, before publishing an article, you should make sure that the code you provide works and is correct. I'm not talking about things like typos, but the general code flow should be consistent.

So the critique of some of the people here may be harsh, but it is valid nevertheless.
